Data & Account Deletion
How to delete your Yaqin data and any account you may create in the future.
Last updated: · Version 1.0
This is a translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Turkish version prevails.
In short
The current version of Yaqin has no account, and your data is not kept on our servers. All your data is on your phone and watch; you delete it yourself with the steps below.
Delete data on your phone
- 1Open Yaqin and go to the Settings tab.
- 2Under Data & privacy, tap “Delete all data on this device”.
- 3Confirm with “Delete permanently”.
Dhikr history, custom dhikrs, favorites, intention and settings are permanently deleted. You can make a copy first with “Export data” if you may want it back.
Uninstall the app
Uninstalling the app deletes all Yaqin data on the device.
- iPhone: Touch and hold the Yaqin icon › Remove App › Delete App.
- Android: Settings › Apps › Yaqin › Uninstall.
- Apple Watch: In the Watch app on your iPhone, find Yaqin and turn off “Show App on Apple Watch”, or touch and hold the app icon on the watch and delete it.
Delete your account (once the optional account feature launches)
When the optional account and cloud backup feature launches, you will be able to delete your account in two ways:
- In the app: Settings › Account › Delete account.
- Without reinstalling the app: email help@toostack.com from your registered address with the subject “Account deletion request”.
| Deleted | Timing |
|---|---|
| Account information (email, sign-in provider ID) | Immediately when deleted in the app; within 30 days of verification for email requests |
| All cloud backups (sessions, favorites, your dhikrs, settings) | Together with the account; from technical backups within 30 days |
Data on your device stays there unless you delete it separately.
