KVKK Notice

1. Data controller
Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), the data controller is TooStack (Maslak, Sarıyer, Istanbul). Contact: help@toostack.com
2. Data processed within the app
The Yaqin app does not create accounts. Dhikr records, favorites, custom dhikrs, settings and intention are processed only on the user's device and are not transferred to the data controller, who cannot access them.
Location data is used with the user's permission, only on the device, to calculate the qibla and prayer times. When the user starts “Nearby mosques”, the coordinates and IP address are sent directly from the device to OpenStreetMap service providers located abroad so the search can be performed (details: Privacy Policy). Using this feature is optional.
3. Personal data processed by the controller, purposes and legal bases

4. Method of collection
Personal data is collected when you send it to us by email, and automatically by the hosting infrastructure when you visit the website.
5. Transfers
Personal data may be transferred to Vercel Inc. (USA) for website hosting and to our email service provider for handling correspondence. These providers' servers may be located abroad. Transfers abroad rely on the appropriate safeguards set out in KVKK Art. 9 (such as standard contracts).
Personal data may be shared with legally authorized public authorities only where required by law.
6. Your rights under KVKK Art. 11
By applying to the data controller, you may:
- Learn whether your personal data is processed
- Request information if it has been processed
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly
- Know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Türkiye or abroad
- Request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate
- Request deletion or destruction under KVKK Art. 7
- Request that corrections, deletions and destructions be notified to the third parties it was transferred to
- Object to an outcome against you arising solely from automated analysis
- Claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing
7. How to apply
Send your request with enough information for us to verify your identity to help@toostack.com, or in writing to the address above. Requests are resolved free of charge within 30 days under the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Applications to the Data Controller.
