Terms of Use

These terms apply between you, as a user of the Yaqin app (phone and watch apps) and the yaqin.toostack.com site, and TooStack (Maslak, Sarıyer, Istanbul). By downloading or using the app you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use the app.

Yaqin offers features such as a dhikr counter, tasbih, dhikr suggestions by intention, prayer times, qibla and nearby mosques. The current version is free, contains no ads and needs no account.

We may change, add or remove features to improve the app.

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use Yaqin for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.

Except where applicable law allows, you may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, rent or redistribute the app.

You agree not to use the app for unlawful purposes or in a way that disrupts or overloads the app or the services it connects to (such as OpenStreetMap servers).

Dhikr texts, meanings, sources and intention suggestions in the app are for guidance. They are not a fatwa, a religious ruling or personal religious counseling; they promise no result, cure or benefit and are not medical or psychological advice. Details: Religious Content Notice.

Prayer times are calculated astronomically on your device and may differ from local official calendars. The qibla direction depends on your device's compass sensor and location accuracy and can be affected by magnetic fields. We recommend relying on local official sources for worship times and direction.

Nearby mosque information comes from volunteer-built OpenStreetMap data and may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate.

Your app data is stored only on your device and is not backed up on our servers. If your device is lost or reset, or the app is uninstalled, the data cannot be recovered. We recommend using “Export data” for anything important. About data processing: Privacy Policy.

The Yaqin name, logo, design, texts and software belong to TooStack or its licensors. Open-source components and data used in the app are subject to their own licenses: Licenses & Attributions.

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we give no express or implied warranty that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. This does not limit your rights under consumer law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, TooStack is not liable for indirect damages, data loss or lost profits arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app. Liability for intent and gross negligence, and any liability that cannot be limited by law, remain unaffected.

Getting the app from the App Store or Google Play is also subject to that store's terms. These terms are between you and TooStack only; Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not parties to them.

If you use the app on Apple devices, the following also applies:

• TooStack, not Apple, is responsible for the app and its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
• If the app fails to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• TooStack, not Apple, handles product liability, legal compliance and consumer protection claims relating to the app.
• TooStack, not Apple, is responsible for investigating and resolving any claim that the app infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo and are not on any list of prohibited parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance, have the right to enforce them against you.

If these Apple-related provisions conflict with Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, Apple's agreement prevails on Apple-related matters.

We may update these terms; the current version is published on this page with its date changed. We announce significant changes in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

You can end this agreement at any time by uninstalling the app. Your license ends automatically if you breach these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Istanbul (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction over disputes. As a consumer, your right to apply to Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts, and any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, remain unaffected.
